Unless I’m mistaken, I think Panda 1.8.1 uses Python 2.7. WxPython 2.8 is compatible with Python 2.7 and 2.6. The last version of wxPython that I can find, wxPython 2.7.1.2, was compatible with Python 2.5 and under, so there may not be an older version out there that is compatible with Python 2.7.
