You can use vrml2egg followed by egg2bam. However, I don’t know how well the vrml2egg exporter works.
Otherwise, I would suggest that you try and load it into a program like Blender and then export it to .egg using YABEE or to .bam directly using the more experimental Panda3D Bam Exporter.
