That is great news! Happy to wait a few days. Otool, unfortunately, tells me nothing about Python. It looks like I do have two versions of Python there, and I don’t remember why anymore. Something about the mac originally installing an old version of python, and/or using multiple package managers, and/or letting other people ‘help’ me install stuff, mumble, mumble. At any rate, I have both 2.7.5 and 2.7.9 there, and possibly more other places. 
I’ve contemplated doing a clean OS install and starting over, and that may be what I have to do, eventually… But, it sounds like you are saving me from having to deal with that this week.
