Nothing is wrong with the clipboard here, both on Windows and Linux.
Which version of wx are you using ?
Where did you copy the text from ? Was it from PyPE ?
Or perhaps it’s related to your OS, or your wx ANSI version. Which version is yours ? I tried it on XP SP2.
