True fullscreen fails, refresh rate too high

Postby ynjh_jo » Sun May 06, 2012 10:43 am

I tried to display a 1360x768 (native res) fullscreen window on 16:9 widescreen monitor, and failed.
The monitor doesn't support 85 Hz vertical refresh rate, but the current rate is set to 60 Hz (by ATI Catalyst).
So who the heck asked for 85 Hz ?
Currently tested on Win7.

Any suggestions ?

It's the driver's fault, reporting wrong max rate.
So I ended up using ATI Tray Tools to lock the rate to 60 Hz.
