CLerpNodePathInterval An interval that lerps one or more properties (like pos, hpr, etc.) on a NodePath over time

What is the meaning of lerp in this context ?

Hi, the documentation of its parent doesn't contain that contraction:
Detailed Description
The base class for a family of intervals that linearly interpolate one or more numeric values over time.

I presume the class you have cited does this on a specific NodePath.
