Guiding Lights
Guiding Lights is an audience interaction piece made in the Entertainment
Technology Center's Building Virtual Worlds class. The audience is an
active participant in the performance and passes around battery powered
lights that are tracked by a video camera. The position of the lights guides
a virtual moth around the screen. The goal is to lead the moth to safety,
away from bats, and ultimately to a mate.
